OpenRoad's Climate Goals and Golden Rules represent our philosophy on how we wish to treat customers - both internal and external. Thus, the fifteen Climate Goal statements illustrate our commitment to our Associates (internal customers) for a progressive, ethical and fair-minded workplace. Our Golden Rules remind us to always focus on our clients' (external customers) needs.
We believe every Associate is responsible for satisfying the needs of our customers. This is true for all positions and at every level of our organization. As part of our Mission Statement, each of us must "Develop strong, long-term customer relationships." We cannot fulfill this goal without the ongoing support of the company’s most valuable resource – our Associates. It is only through teamwork and collective strength that we can stimulate the kind of quality product and superior service that results in long-term customer satisfaction.
Each and every contact a client has with our company, written or verbal, leaves an impression. Our Climate Goals and Golden Rules help to ensure that each and every moment of contact is a positive one, thus upholding the company’s high standard of quality and service. It is the role of each Associate, regardless of position, to make each moment of customer service outstanding.

Working in a retail environment can be both exciting and challenging. There are times when the challenges can seem somewhat daunting and we forget to keep our focus on the fact that without our customers, our roles as Associates with the company are meaningless. To this end, our Golden Rules are a helpful reminder to always focus on our clients' needs.
