OPENROAD’S TOYOTA DEALERSHIP IN RICHMOND DRIVES SALES TO RECORD HEIGHTS FOR 2004
06-Jan-05
(Richmond, B.C.) Lower Mainland residents may have noticed an increase in the number of new cars, trucks and SUVs seen driving around their community. The reason? The OpenRoad Auto Group is proud to announce a record number of sales for the past year. The group sold a total of 6,522 new and previously owned vehicles in its seven dealerships. Leading the charge was the OpenRoad Toyota dealership in Richmond which had a record number of sales this year – the highest number since the company’s inception 27 years ago. For 2004, the dealership boasts 2,826 units of total new vehicle sales. The successful year is illustrated by the fact that OpenRoad’s Toyota dealership in Richmond easily exceeded Toyota Canada’s yearly sales target and once again led sales in western Canada. The Richmond store was also the top volume truck and SUV Toyota dealer across the country. “Our entire auto group, with our Richmond dealership at the head, continues to deliver incredible sales numbers,” says OpenRoad’s CEO, Christian Chia. “Referrals and repeat business are an important contributing factors to our success but it is also our exceptional facility and sales staff that make shopping at our store so desirable.” OpenRoad Toyota’s Richmond facility, with its convenient location in the Richmond AutoMall, offers a broad range of inventory and knowledgeable staff to aid in consumer confidence. The OpenRoad Auto Group started in the Richmond farmland in 1978 when the three Chia brothers opened Richmond Toyota. Since then, the group has grown to seven dealerships across the Lower Mainland with combined annual sales of more than $190-million and a staff of over 300 technicians, salespeople and administration personnel. OpenRoad strives to provide customers the best-possible vehicle shopping experience by featuring wide-open showrooms, visible sales managers, aquatic fish tanks, PlayStation II consoles and an un-matched selection of products. -end- Media Inquiries Maryse Cardin or Frances Horner Turtle & Hare Creative Tel: 604-684-1263 Email: info@turtleandharecreative.com
